Elsewhere on this site, we describe the larger artifacts in the collection of the museum such as the buildings, railway structures, passenger cars, locomotives and freight cars. But there will also be a large collection of smaller artifacts that have come down to us from the past. The existing structures contain many of these artifacts such as small gatehouses, cranes and machine shop equipment.
We expect as time passes and the museum becomes well established that many local private collections of railway artifacts will be donated to the museum. |
