Weekend Report: Preparations continue for the mini-museum

As the wonderful early spring weather continued, our volunteers continued to focus their efforts this past weekend on the preparations for the opening of the museum for this summer season in late May.
As the bulbs we planted last year beside the miniature railway depot began to grow (see the photo at the upper left), volunteers were busy painting the black walls and doors in the area designated for the temporary display in stall 17, pending a move into our permanent display space. In the images below, we also see the stacked display cases which will be a central feature of this space.
