The Labour Day weekend, the unofficial last weekend of the summer, brought out crowds of visitors to Roundhouse Park. The miniature railway experienced almost 1,400 riders over the three days.
This weekend #4803 was moved to a radial track and the Pyke Crane was moved on to the turntable and became the centrepiece of our equipment exhibit. GP9 #4803 was a popular spot for folks to have their pictures taken on on the steps and walkways as can be seen in the photo.
Miniature railway operations will now happen only on weekends after Labour Day but the Museum itself will continue to be open from Wednesday to Sunday each week.
