On Saturday, January 17th the Toronto Railway Historical Association held its annual reception and dinner to celebrate our progress in the past year in developing the Toronto Railway Museum and especially the contributions of our staff and volunteers in making that happen.
Again this year, a team of staff and volunteers worked hard to transform our restoration workshops into a wonderful venue befitting this event. We rolled the recently restored Cape Race observation car into the space for this event to join the Nova Scotia passenger car, providing us with a great location for our bar as well as a lounge area. Thanks to our neighbours, Leon’s at the Roundhouse, we were provided comfortable sofas for our evening conversations.
The images below capture the space just before our guests were to arrive at 6:00 p.m.
