The TRM’s Collection in HO scale – Part 4 of 4

TRHA No.1
The TRM Workhorse TRHA No.1, a 50 ton Canadian Locomotive Company Whitcomb is another tough model to build, in HO at least. While there is a gorgeous G scale Whitcomb from Aristocraft available, in HO, the closest available model I have ever found is the Bachmann 45ton GE Switcher, mostly because it has side-rods in a compact package, just like our Number 1. 
The model includes custom printed decals to get the TRM Logo on the cab like the real one, along with very time consuming individual letters to add “Toronto Railway Heritage Centre”, the previous name of the Toronto Railway Museum before TRM was settled upon as our name! Suffice to say, I’m in no rush to re-do all the individual letters!Wrap-Up
As can be seen in the last picture of TRHA No.1, I have been working on models of our freight cars and other pieces of equipment. Watch this space as more models of the TRM Collection will follow over time as model building time permits.
Currently the Models of the Simulator Cabs Delaware & Hudson 757 and Canadian National 9159 are on Display outside the D&H 757 Simulator, and the models of CNR4803 and CPR7020 are on display inside the Stall 17 Museum until at least Thanksgiving 2012.
