The CP is not the only railway to operate Christmas trains to communities on their routes. The Ontario Northland also operates an annual train on the following dates to many of the communities that they serve.  They have already begun the journey. Here is their schedule for those of you who live in northern Ontario:

• Monday, Dec 2 – North Bay – The Station – 6 pm to 7 pm
• Tuesday, Dec 3 – Temagami – Temagami Station – 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm
• Wednesday, Dec 4 – Cobalt – Cobalt Train Station – 6 pm to 7 pm
• Thursday, Dec 5 – Earlton – Railway Crossing on 10th Street – 5:30 pm to 7 pm 
• Friday, Dec 6 – Englehart – The Station – 6:30 to 7:30 pm
• Monday, Dec 9 – Iroquois Falls – Earl Porter Bowling Lanes Parking Lot – 6 pm to 7 pm
• Tuesday, Dec 10 – Cochrane – The Station Inn – 6 pm to 8 pm 
• Wednesday, Dec 11 – Kapuskasing – Kapuskasing Special Events Resource Centre – 6 pm to 7 pm
• Thursday, Dec 12 – Hearst – Ontario Northland (behind the Companion Motel) Train Arrives at 6 pm
• Tuesday, Dec 17 – Moosonee – Moosonee Station – 6 pm to 8 pm
