Online Lecture: Toronto Union Stations, Pt. 1

Coming Thursday, September 3rd we are once again offering an online lecture hosted by TRHA historian Derek Boles. This lecture series will cover Toronto’s Union Stations of which there have been three throughout its history – four if you count the massive additions made to the second station during the 1890’s. This first lecture will specifically go over the construction of the first Union Station in 1858 up to the opening of the current station in 1925, while a subsequent lecture will examine the following decades up to the modern day. This lecture will be presented with images of these stations, some previously unseen.

The lecture will be presented digitally through the WebEx platform between 8:00pm and 9:30pm with a short break in the middle. Admission for this lecture is free, though donations are appreciated. You can register for the lecture by clicking here. Instructions to access the lecture will be provided in the order confirmation you will receive from Eventbrite.
