Field Trip Report: Montreal Live Steamers – Part 1 of 2
The Montreal Live Steamers are a miniature railway club who have built and operate a track in the small town of Les Cedres, Quebec near the Ontario/Quebec Border on the St. Lawrence river.
They have traditionally held an International Meet over the July 1st Canada Day weekend. I had the opportunity to visit them on Saturday, June 30th. The pictures shown here capture some of the fine miniature train sets built by the club members and the visitors. Visitors came from many of the states in the north east U.S. states as well as from Ontario and elsewhere in Quebec.
Our first batch of pictures concentrate on the ground level 7 1/4″ gauge railway.
