Field Report: Roundhouse Park – June 25th, 2014 – Part 3 of 3
Continuing my postings on my field trip to the first day of full staffing for the summer season, I also captured the following images:
- The museum entrance area has been reorganized by our volunteers to be much less cluttered and much more appealing. Smaller artefacts on display are now flanked by the vinegar car at the left and #6213 at the right (on June 25th).
- The railway themed playground in the south-east corner of Roundhouse Park. While this has been in place for a number of years now, some of our readers may not be aware that it is there.
- Chris Fox, assisted by our Michael Guy were hard at work on the diesel engine in our CPR #7020 Diesel switcher as we believe that we can make it run. We will report further on this exciting project in a subsequent TRHA News posting.
