Continuing my postings on my field trip to our Museum on the first day of full staffing for the summer season, I captured the following images:
- Our steam engine #6213, separated from its tender, was parked on the turntable. Later this year, it is destined to be moved into our restoration stalls for restoration work prior to its being repainted next year.
- Our F7 Diesel Cab Unit has been moved to Stall 15 to make way in Stall 16 for a modest expansion of our Temporary Museum space over the months to come. We will be sealing and and weather proofing the F7 Cab so that it can be stored just outside the museum doors to allow #6213 to be moved inside in Stall 15.
- I peeked into an event in the “Leon’s at the Roundhouse” store event being held both in their patio area under a tent and inside in a brand new event space created by Leon’s at the back of their store in the “electronic area”.
