The Copetown Model Railway Show on February 8th, 2015 was a great success despite inclement weather which kept visitor traffic down somewhat. But hundreds of visitors still turned out.
The organizers shrewdly placed us in a row of exhibits featuring the TH&B Historical Society, the Toronto Railway Museum, the Freeman Station Museum and the Halton County Radial Railway Museum. We enjoyed updating everyone on progress at the Museum at our exhibit.
In addition to donating some of his firm’s great models as door prizes, Jason Shron, owner of Rapido Trains, auctioned off his displayed posters with proceeds going to the Toronto Railway Historical Association’s LRC restoration fund.
Below are some additional highlights of the show.
