Donation: Bill Kaufman donates a three gauge module for our F7

Bill Kaufman developed our U33C Diesel cab Simulator over the past 19 years and last year sold it to the museum. Over that period of time, he has developed a network of contacts in the railway parts industry and has helped us in many ways to find parts that we needed in our restorations.

Bill noted that our F7 Diesel Cab’s three gauge set on the front panel of the cab had been vamdalized as shown above in the picture of the cab above. It was damaged many many years ago and would have been difficult to restore. So he has generously donated a set salvaged from a similar unit which matches ours. The donated set is shown in the picture above and below at the left.

In the picture at the right below, we find Bill hard at work on a visit last fall helping us commission one of our four AAR standard diesel control stands.
