James Rasor is an owner and principal architect with the firm Stanford Downey Architects in Toronto, Ontario.  His love of trains was instilled in him by his parents who would race steam engines in their Volkswagen Beetle and wave to get the engineer to blow the whistle.  He is an avid modeler like his father, a lover of sketching like his mother, a child of Lego, and he is forever creating things in his imagination to bring them to pen to paper and to life.  He is a member of the TRHA, a director with the Toronto Chapter of the Canadian Association of Railway Modelers, and he is a collector and builder of N Scale Maintenance of Way trains.
