Continuing with our exploration of the Railway Museum in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, we explore the preserved train set that perhaps best lays claim to being the Newfie Bullet. It is led by one of only two preserved steam engines in Newfoundland (the other is very old but very small and will be featured later in this series).

This train set consists of the steam engine and a reasonably complete set of passenger cars including a diner.   The steam engine was built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in January of 1921 as Build 54401.
It is a 4-6-2 Pacific, one of six built for the railway. It was retired in 1957.  As can be seen below, the dining car display a nicely set table using tableware from the end of the era of passenger travel in Newfoundland.
